It occurred to me that when we break up with a person for our own personal reasons we tell other that they were "crazy" . It seems a cold hearted but simple way of dismissing a person so they won't bring up things maybe we don't want to hear. This song is about a woman being told that and realizing that it pretty much is a cop out and realizing it's a bunch of bull.
