My inspirations

EMOTIONS
My inspirations are dreams and fantasies. Living in the inner world of one's heart and mind where ideas and creativity come together, sometimes not of the real world around us.
The questions to all the possibilities to the human condition come to the surface in the creation of a song or a lyric. Emotions are the paints in which to draw the paint the song and it could be a simple painting so beautiful it moves me to tears or it could be a want and desire that is inside and wants to escape. Expressing these and my interpretation of the world and people around me are my tools with which I feel compelled to write my songs.
FANTASIES
AND what about fantasy and fantasies? Since childhood through the fairy tales and the stories of fairies and lovers, the stage was set into a theater inside the mind where one could feel and want to create something that could aspire to these created by other artists and authors. Why the need to create? Unknown by me but the fantasy secret life held a special place where the stories and scripts were written in emotion and mental thoughts of a world where things were inspiring and amazing. When the real world sometimes disappointed, the interior world of oneself could interact and create a story or a song that was entwined with the experience and has a life of its own. The music I create is created with those visions and feelings. It is sublime and satisfying.
The urge to write and to share the creative ideas and feelings is universal and these songs are my contributions in art
Love
Love, wanting to be loved or to find a relationship with love has been an inspiration. The meaning of love and all its ups and downs and fantastic feelings and down lows all are part of my inspirations. Trying to get it right? Maybe? Trying to make it work and sometimes realizing it can't work. Through it all, I still believe in love.
Guitar Playing
A giant inspiration is the sound of a guitar playing. Nothing is like it. Its soft fingerpicking styles to its ability to scream during an amazing solo by one of the guitar greats has been the largest inspiration in my life. From first hearing rock albums and wanting to someday be able to play a guitar has been the greatest challenge and the greatest inspirations. In my opinion, nothing is like an electric guitar in the depth and beauty and its badness and distortion. It inspires everything.
